Summary :
The forehead flap is the main used flap in complex nasal reconstruction. This flap is normaly executed in two stages. During the first stage, the flap is elevated and inset into the area of the defect. The second stage is executed three weeks later, when the flap is well healed, the pedicule is divided. An intermediary stage coud be executed in order to excise the underlying excess of soft tissue. This stage with a respect of nasal subunit and conqual cartilage graft give good aesthetic and functional results.
