Summary :
Fibrous dysplasia is a benign and rare disease. All bones can be affected. There are mono-ostotic or polyostotics forms. It is caused by a genetic mutation that leads to an abnormal differentiation of osteoblasts resulting in an excess of proliferation of fibrous tissue. We report the case of a mono-ostic fibrous dysplasia of the left maxillary bone of a 40 years old man. It is revealed accidentally during médical imaging to monitor his testicular cancer. After a multidisciplinary consultation meeting we decide the total tumor résection through sub eyelid and upper vestibular access. This is decided to treat this probable bone metastasis. This case report presents the originality to discover a patient quickly developing a fibrous dysplasia, while it is recognized as slowly progressive congenital lesion. This case report presents the originality of a quick fibrous dysplasia développement which is unusual. More over it illustrates the trap of classifique uptake in PET CT in a neoplastic context.
