Summary : Background: Hemorrhage is the most common complication of many procedures performed within the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. At times, massive bleeding can occur spontaneously, posing a real life-threatening event for our patients. Methods: We present 3 cases of pseudoaneurysms of the external carotid artery’s branches that presented with a massive hemorrhage. Results: They were all successfully treated with endovascular embolization. Conclusion: Although we present a small case series, we were able to implement this treatment modality effectively even under life-threatening situations. The availability of a qualified team of Interventional Radiologists was crucial, as their intervention lead to a quick access and hemorrhage control of a difficult to reach area.
