Ethmoid-nasal meningioma psammomateux left: About a case

Summary : Introduction: The meningioma psammomateux ethmoid-nasal, is a benign tumor, meningotheliale rare. The differential diagnosis arises with fibrous dysplasia or fibroids cemento-ossifying. Objec­ti­ves: To describe the clinical features and para­clinical, a meningioma in a primary paranasal sinus, ethmoid-kind meningioma psammomateux nasal. Etude a case observed in October 2009. Materials and methods: The clinico-radiological mimicked cemento-ossifying fibroma, endoscopic examination, found the presence of a swollen appearance of the middle turbinate, filling the entire left nasal cavity; the CT scan showed a calcified fat formation the left nasal cavity. Results: The patient underwent surgery, endoscopic, confirming the loca­tion of the pedicle in the olfactory cleft. Pathological exami­na­tion confirmed the diagnosis of a meningioma psammo­ma­teux ethmoid-nasal, left. Conclusion: The management of meningio­ma psammomateux ethmoid-nasal, is essentially.
